Creamy guacamole dip made with avocados, Greek yogurt, cilantro and jalapeno peppers. I tried similar recipe at my friend’s Christi house and loved it right away.
Greek yogurt adds an amazing creaminess and extra protein to this traditional Mexican dish. Who would think to add Greek yogurt to guacamole?! I never did.
I know traditional guacamole is made only with avocados I believe. And salt, pepper and cilantro. But sometimes I like things non-traditional way.

Lately cooking is becoming very non-traditional. The more weird it sounds, the more popular it is. For example, have you seen lasagna cupcakes made with won ton wrappers? Isn’t it weird?! Probably tastes good. Those kind of dishes win contest and appear on front pages of popular food websites.
Fine with me. It’s honestly not me. I do not go that far to innovate dishes. Maybe one day I will, who knows.
Anyways, this guacamole was amazingly creamy. It even kept it’s colour until the next day. I was surprised. I guess an addition of Greek yogurt did it.
If serving with chips, do not add too much salt. Usually the chips are salty already. You can also add fresh chopped red onion and tomatoes. If you wish.
